Medford 7

This has been a really good week. We've had a lot of great things going on.

We found an investigator named Ricardo a few weeks ago and went back to see him this week. We didn't think much of him, but he's SUPER solid! We set a date with him for in April. He was so touched with the message of the Plan of Salvation and the spirit was so strong. We're going to be seeing him often over the next few weeks.

We also met with some super interesting part-member families the past couple days. One was just the most stereotypical redneck family and the other was the complete opposite, the stereotypical hippie family. There was so much false doctrine thrown around. The latter group had a man that was balding in the front, with dreadlocks in the back. I call it the Drullet. There was also a lot of meditation going on. It was weird.

We really busted our butts this week. I'm trying to finish strong and make everyday I have count until I'm done. We also went to the temple, which is always a huge blessing. I love that place so much.

Thats it this week. Love you all so much.

Have a great week!

Medford 6: The Phoenix Continues

Howdy All!

This week in Phoenix was really slow. We tried pretty hard towards the end of the week to find some people to teach and get around to all our people, but there wasn't a whole lot of success. No one's home man. But we're still working hard to get 'em going!

We took some members over to Drake's house to get him into more fellowship with the church. The lesson went ok. He has a lot of misconceptions about different points of doctrine, but after some time he'll be ready to go I know it!

So, we accidentally went to Grants Pass for a service project. There were these guys who needed some wood cut and said that the project "wasn't very far away". Yeah. It was the most unprofessional and thrown together service ever. But it was fun!

We also got transfer information a day early?? Our mission President called us on Thursday and told us that we were staying together for another transfer in Phoenix and that he sees really big things happening! We're excited for this next transfer together.

We had a Zone Training meeting on Friday. The messages shared were awesome and the spirit was super strong. Elder Davis and I had the chance to present on charity which was really neat. I was grateful for the opportunity.

Thank you all for the support! It means so much to me. Have a great week.

Be good or be good at it,

Medford 5

Howdy Folks! It's Elder Jensen.

This week was really sweet. We had a lot of great things going on.

On Tuesday, we went on splits with the Zone Leaders. We did some service for a member in Phoenix stacking firewood. Then we went to the hospital because Elder Bunker got himself a nice case of swimmer's ear. How he did that, we're not sure. We gave him a lot of grief for that.

Wednesday we had Zone Conference in Central Point. The meeting was combined with us (Medford), Central Point, and Klamath Falls zones. Packed house. It was a pretty good meeting and got me pumped for the rest of the week. I also got to see some good mission friends which is always a treat.

On Friday we went on exchanges with the Elders in the 6th Ward, Elder Perterson and Wagstaff. We had a ton of fun and got a lot of work done. We also got lost in a vineyard, which we thought was kind of funny.

We've had some really good lessons this week. Church didn't freak Drake out!! He actually really enjoyed it and wants to come back. We're hoping to invite him to be baptized here pretty soon.

We also got back in with Patrick. We really emphasized the importance of the Book of Mormon and why we need to read it regularly.

We finished out the week with a tracting extravaganza and found 4 new people to teach! It was awesome.

That's about it. I hope everyone has a great week! Lots of love!
